The preheating lamp on the instrument panel lights up for a long time when the ignition is turned on, or it is constantly lit, or it does not light up at all.

i put it on the computer and it comes up with diagnostic code 70 pre heater fault.

The first code you have given of P0380 would indicate to me that one or more of the Glow Plugs have failed.
